2021 COVID-19 safety requirements for all students and teachers

These were our safety guidelines for 2021. We will revise in 2022 according to the evolving circumstances.

• Do not come to class in person if you have come in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

• Do not come to class in person if you have any symptoms of covid including: fever, cough, flu like symptoms, loss of taste or smell, etc.

• All attendees are required to wear a mask for the duration of in person classes.

• Attendees must maintain 6 feet from other participants for the duration of the classes, including plant walks.

• Anyone coming in to contact with shared objects (ie tools, medicine bottles etc.) must wear gloves or practice hand sanitizing measures (washing hands or using hand sanitizer before and after touching).

• Classes will be held entirely outside! Please dress for the weather and bring  anything you will need to be comfortable for class.

• Any indoor spaces that we use (bathrooms, apothecary, barn etc.) will be limited to one person at a time. Masks must be worn at all times in any indoor space, and everyone must follow strict hand sanitizing measures, cleaning of surfaces and air purification as needed.

• If someone needs a break from wearing a mask for health reasons, the person must be at least 100 feet from other people in class.

• For snacking or drinking during class, please step at least 15 feet to eat or drink as needed. Scheduled breaks and lunch time are allotted for people to eat at physical distance.

• Live video classes are available for people to participate in for the majority of classes. Video recordings available afterwards.
